PTFE MEMBRANES

Interstate Specialty Products die cuts PTFE membrane filters for liquid and gas filtration, equipment ventilation, and many other applications.

Interstate Specialty Products die cuts PTFE membrane filters for medtech, electronics, and industrial applications. For over 60 years, we’ve been using precision die cutting to create custom PTFE membrane filters at our facility in Sutton, Massachusetts.

Today, our converting capabilities include cleanroom cutting for medical, pharmaceutical, and other high-purity applications. Digital knife cutting of custom PTFE membrane filters is also available.

Die Cut PTFE Membrane Filters

Typically, PTFE filters are die cut into discs from sheets or rolls of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membrane. Die cut PTFE filters offer wide chemical compatibility, high temperature resistance, and low starting resistance. They are available in various pore sizes and thicknesses, and supplied with a supporting layer of polyester or polypropylene if needed.

Ask Interstate Specialty Products which type of PTFE membrane filters are right for your application. We can die cut hydrophobic or hydrophilic PTFE materials according to your precise specifications, desired production volumes, and delivery timeline.

Custom PTFE Membrane Filters

Hydrophobic PTFE membrane filters are used for sterilizing gases and aggressive chemicals. Hydrophilic PTFE membrane filters are a good choice for high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). However, for HPLC with low detection levels, highly absorbent polypropylene membrane filters may be required.

Custom PTFE membrane filters are used for venting applications, phase separations, aerosol samplings, liquid filtration of caustic chemicals, and air filtration in microelectronics facilities.
