PTFE MEMBRANES

Interstate Specialty Products die cuts PTFE membrane filters for liquid and gas filtration, equipment ventilation, and many other applications.

Interstate Specialty Products die cuts PTFE membrane filters for medical and scientific, electronics, and industrial applications. For over 50 years, we’ve been using precision die cutting to create custom PTFE membrane filters at our Made in the USA company in Sutton, Massachusetts.

Today, our converting capabilities include cleanroom cutting for medical, pharmaceutical, and other high-purity applications. Digital knife cutting of custom PTFE membrane filters is also available. Typically, PTFE filters are die cut into discs from sheets or rolls of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membrane material.

Die Cut PTFE Membrane Filters

Die cut PTFE membrane filters offer wide chemical compatibility, high temperature resistance, and low starting resistance. They are sometimes supplied with a supporting layer of polyester or polypropylene, and are available in various pore sizes and thicknesses.

Ask Interstate Specialty Products which type of die cut PTFE membrane filters are right for your application. We can die cut hydrophobic or hydrophilic PTFE materials to your precise specifications, in the production quantities required, and according to your delivery schedule.

Custom PTFE Membrane Filters

Hydrophobic PTFE membrane filters are used for sterilizing gases and aggressive chemicals. Hydrophilic PTFE membrane filters are a good choice for high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). For HPLC with low detection levels, however, highly absorbent polypropylene membrane filters may be required.

Custom PTFE membrane filters are used for venting applications, phase separations, aerosol samplings, and the liquid filtration of aggressive chemicals such as strong acids. Additional applications include air filtration in microelectronics facilities, equipment venting, and solvent filtration.
